Dr. Amy Rothenberg is a doctor, teacher, writer, and advocate for healthy living who has practiced as a licensed naturopathic physician since 1986 in Northampton, Massachusetts. She is also the American Association of Naturopathic physicians 2017 physician of the year, she was the longtime medical editor for the Institute of natural medicine. And she, along with her husband, Dr. Paul Herscu, has taught through the New England School of Homeopathy since 1988. When she was diagnosed with cancer in 2014, Dr. Rothenberg sought care at a renowned teaching hospital and worked with providers with expertise in integrative natural medicine oncology to create her medical dream team. She recently released her book, You Finish Treatment, Now What? a field guide for cancer survivors. This book is a roadmap for lifestyle and natural medicine to address health challenges that persist after care and reduce the risk of recurrence. In his spare time, Dr. Rothenberg enjoys the good life in the countryside where she lives.

In this episode, Peter shares with us his love of crystal remedies, how they're made, and how they could be used in a clinic. He'll also share with us his published books, which will teach us more about the crystal structure in homeopathy.
Peter has been in full-time practice using homeopathic and natural medicines for 26 years. He studied as a naturopath but quickly found his place in homeopathy, with its “simple, single medicines and power to address the whole person." He was co-founder and principal of the Sydney College of Homeopathic Medicine for nine years. In 1994, Peter instituted a series of experiments with new medicines and developed a set of medicines made from crystalline substances, the "gem"’ medicines. In 2005, he produced his major work, “Twelve Jewels,"’ which is the result of more than 10 years of group experiments and clinical experience with these medicines.

Join us for our latest episode, in which Gabriel will discuss his practice, which is based on homeopathic potencies known as LMs, and its various benefits, as well as his wonderful experience practicing homeopathy and his idea of sharing this knowledge with native Amazonians.
 
Gabriel Cambraia Neiva, Ph.D., RSHom, is a homeopath who graduated from the North West College of Homeopathy in Manchester. Following the principles of classical homeopathy, Gabriel has been treating children and adults for the last few years, both in the United Kingdom and in Brazil. From mental health to respiratory and skin complaints, Gabriel supports patients to achieve better health during chronic and acute conditions. Gabriel also offers workshops on homeopathic prescribing. He is a registered member of the Society of Homeopaths, UK, where his practice is based. Gabriel's practice is mostly based on homeopathic potencies called LMs, which are gentle, water-based remedies. According to the father of homeopathy, the physician Samuel Hahnemann, these remedies are the ones most perfected, as there are hardly any aggravations. Reactions are seen faster, and the duration of treatment is drastically reduced. Although usually prescribing one remedy at a time, according to the classical science of homeopathy, there are cases in which support remedies might be needed - these are usually prescribed in lower, centesimal potencies.
